Lyla and her brothers were born deep in the rural parts of Evermare, a rather poor family, with Lyla often job hopping in order to find a decent job, until there was not one, but three job openings for The Rave Yard, Bouncer, Slots machine repairman and Personal Assistent, Lyla, happy for the job yet questioning it's source at this point, had dragged herself along with Blake and Breadon over there to sign up for the job,

Lyla (along with her brothers) were assigned to assist NM during her time serving as a regular celebrity star at The Rave Yard, Lyla was deeply expecting the relationship to go horribly, although, NM, while far from perfect, especially at the time, she was far from being as obsessively narcissistic as other celebrities.
Lyla was mostly just glad to have a boss who wasn't a complete and total egomanic again.
NM was happy to have a PA who did a decent job, and would offer a word of appreciation for Lyla from time to time, and wouldn't be rude to her
