Having long chafed under Krevarian rule, the Cortanian Isle declares its independence. The squabbling Tributary Houses commit a naval expedition to reclaim the isles, but infighting among the military leaders result in its dismantling and defeat by the Cortanian forces. Surprise marine actions by the rebel forces capture a significant number of Imperial ships.
