Wanyun of Karaito

The Wanyun of Karaito was a short-lived Wanyun, but it remains a point of pride for the Dwarves of the Junyeong region as it is the only time a dwarven ruler held the title of Wanyun. Karaito began from rebels in the region of the former Principality of Chwan Yun, which was conquered by the Wanyun of Bailan during its rise. Karaito is considered a de facto successor to that state rather than de jure. Kararito had just one real ruler, who was slain in battle by the rising power of the Wanyun of Saewan in 83 SC. Although his successor claimed the title until 87 SC, when Saewan completed their conquest of Karaito, this was nominal at best since Saewan had already claimed and taken effective control over the Wanyun.
