Stewardship of Teveska

The Stewardship of Teveska has had a unique path towards being its own independent nation, and is one of the more recent members of the Cloriadmen Confederation. Once a detatched province of the Kingdom of Ambolaine, the steward of the region declared it independent following strife in Ambolaine, and aligned the region with the Cloriadmen Confederation. Since Ambolaine is a landlocked country, they had no way to actually do anything about Teveska. The stewardship has essentially become a hereditary "first among equals" whose power has waxed and waned over the years, kept in check by the powerful merchant families of the region.
No, I did not make this the early Netherlands on purpose, and I did not realize until just now.
