Overview of Voltheim

Voltheim is a continent at the extreme north of the world, and is frozen throughout the entire year. With such a harsh climate, few can survive, and the majority of its population is Snow/Frost Elves, Dvur - Ice Dwarves, Jotun, and, ironically, Frostborn Kobolds. Its main visitors are gnomes trading with the Snow Elves for Frigidite, but other than that the continent is almost entirely isolated. For many years it has been ruled by multiple Jotun Empires and Kingdoms who have ruthlessly oppressed and driven the Kobolds and Dvur underground, leaving only the Snow Elves and their powerful warded city-states to stand against them on the surface.
