Dvur - Ice Dwarves
"If you're as much of a fan of warm fires as I, I'm sure you'll find the home of the Dvur hospitable enough. Take care you don't get caught in a blizzard on the way there, though, I do not recommend it." - Olorn, 5th century S.C. bard
Ice Dwarves were originally from Voltheim, but migrated to Frostreach during the war between Titans and dragons. They landed on the north western coast of Frostreach and began to burrow into the mountain range. There, they established kingdoms and worshipped the permafrost found deep below, as they believed their ancestors in Voltheim were born from it. They also worshipped their pantheon of gods which was later spread to human settlers on Frostreach, which also helped serve as a foundation for [Rusirr] Dvur they are more stout than common dwarves and grow thicker beards to compensate for the colder climate. They live primarily inside of glacial ice caves, but will burrow into mountains if their tunnels run into them. These ice caves are quite dangerous for non-Dvur to traverse, as they can get to tempuratures of around -40 degrees. accompanied The Dvur language is similar to real life Icelandic.
