Argelona Plains

The Argelona Plains are a massive stretch of land in western Halyren, covered in a variety of flat landscapes- deserts, steppes, drylands, and plateaus. The plains are perhaps most notable for the three cliffsides running their whole length, dividing them into four separate altitudes. They are considered to be bound by the following regions; in the northwest to south by the Sköddoran Mountains, in the east by [Halyren's Inner Sea], and in the northeast by the Reskapoja Hills. They are considered to have no set border with the [Halyren Riverlands], but the landscape changes drastically in this region, clearly delineating the difference between the two. The Argelona Plains are very diverse, with the coastline along the Inner Seas being relatively balmy and the North Argelona Desert being extremely dry and receiving one of the lowest amounts of annual rainfall in the world.
