Syoll's Heart

Syoll's Heart is aptly named, not only because it is located in the geographical centre of The Eight but also because it is the heart and soul of the entire nation. It is by far the most open of all Towns, with people who live there being open to any race, class or religion.
Even a mile before you reach Syoll's Heart, you can find caravans and tents with aspiring and travelling performers, come to visit the great capital or join the city's College of the Arts.

Demographics

Most of the population work either in entertainment or in political positions, but you can find a lot of sorcerers and merchants too. The living in Syoll's Heart is rather expensive, so most inhabitants are of a wealthier kind, especially famous artists or retired adventurers. The commoners live in the outskirts of the city, sometimes even outside the walls in the Traveller's Refuge (an unofficial, self-built district).

Geography

Syoll's Heart is located on the top of a great hill in the southern part of Ellion Dula's big island. It isn't very far to Nessur's Eye, so there is always a healthy supply of fresh water.
