Warehouse Ward   Royal Port is governed by a court of aristocrats, though a council of women exerts some influence. Each ward of the city is represented here. These representee are assigned or born into the position. The King assigns the position, like a mayor. Each Representee pushes their own agendas to the front of importance on the council. some wards work together better than others, Some wards are more powerful than others, but all get an equal vote on the council.       sword nobility - This is the old family, previous kings. This is the oldest form of nobility. The Sword nobility was once knights of the king. but now are retired from the kings service. Royal nobility - This group is broken into two sub-groups.
  1. immemorial nobility-includes the families recognized for having always lived nobly and never ennobled.
  2. ennobled families- ennobled by an office or by Letters patent from the King.
knightly nobility -Knights of the King, currently knighted and working for the lord. Knights can only be knighted by the king. Some times the knight in question is a paladin of a church, this is very hard to do. For the church would never let a man (king) have control over their paladin. The paladin by his nature would be more loyal to his or her God than some man made king. In the past a famous knight, was convinced by the corrupt church leaders that the king was evil. this caused the paladin knight to choose his church over the king. The king destroyed the church and all of its followers. Stating that if God didn't like how he was ruling the country he could come down and take it from him.
