The Myth of Tarthvalon the Red

Tarthvalon the Red was a legendary dragon from the days long before Dragonfall. He was known throughout the land for his fierce strength, his cunning intelligence, and his unyielding determination.  As the legend states:

In the days before the great cataclysm, Tarthvalon was the leader of the the Dragon Ascendancy, a group of powerful and wise dragons who ruled over the land and guided the people. Tarthvalon was known for his fiery temper and his love of battle, but he was also fair and just, and was greatly respected by the people of the land. He fought many battles against the forces of evil present on the land and forgotten, and was feared by his enemies and admired by his allies.   But despite his great power and wisdom, Tarthvalon was not immune to the forces of change. When the great magical calamity struck the land, Tarthvalon was among the many dragons who were transformed into other forms. Some say that he was reborn as a human, while others believe that he was transformed into a different creature entirely.   Whatever the truth may be, Tarthvalon disappeared from the world after Dragonfall, and his fate remains shrouded in mystery. Some say that he still walks the land, disguised as a mortal and seeking to reclaim his former power and glory. Others believe that he has retreated into the depths of the earth, biding his time and waiting for the day when he can rise again.   But no matter what has become of Tarthvalon, his legend lives on, and his name is still spoken with fear and respect by those who remember the days before Dragonfall. He is remembered as a great and powerful dragon, who fought to protect the land and its people from evil. And though he may be gone, his legacy lives on in the many stories and tales that are told of him, and in the hearts and minds of those who still yearn for the return of the mighty dragons.   It is this legend that has inspired many, such as the Teeth of Tarthvalon to take up arms and fight, for whatever causes they deem worthy.
