Gum-da, The Flameheart is the leader of The
Teeth of Tarthvalon, a notorious mercenary faction operating across the Dragon Isles. He is a formidable warrior and a skilled tactician, known for his ruthless efficiency and his unyielding determination.
Born into a small village in
The Scorchlands, Gum-da's life was forever changed when his village was attacked by a group of bandits. Despite being only a young boy at the time, Gum-da managed to fend off the attackers, using his innate ability to control fire to incinerate the bandits and save his village. This act of bravery caught the attention of the Teeth of Tarthvalon, who were recruiting in the area at the time. Gum-da joined the faction and quickly rose through the ranks, thanks to his unmatched combat skills and his natural leadership abilities.
Gum-da is a fierce and uncompromising leader, who is dedicated to the success of the Teeth of Tarthvalon. He has a strong sense of loyalty to the faction, and will do whatever it takes to protect its interests. He is known for his cold and calculating demeanor, and is not afraid to make difficult decisions in order to achieve his goals. The Maw, training both himself and new recruits. On occasion he has been known to silently and secretly show up on the battlefield along with his soldiers, leading them into battle. Just the sight of him caused many of the opposing forces to flee and surrender.
As the Flameheart it is said the Gum-da possesses all the knowledge, and perhaps power and capability of all past leaders of the faction, which can trace its roots to the lifetime of the legendary dragon Tarthvalon. Whether or not these rumors are true has been difficult to determine, but it has been noted that the fighting capabilities of each Flameheart has been seemingly similar.
Gum-da's ultimate goal is to cement the Teeth of Tarthvalon as the most powerful and feared mercenary group in the Dragon Isles. He is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal, and will stop at nothing to secure the success of the faction.
