Tumbalo Bailey
Tumbalo Bailey was a fisherman from the moon, who sailed on the sea of great crater of Copernicus during the age of the Long Northern Peace. He is a hero in some of the favourie stories they like to recount in Anoomenon, because he ran away with the Wild Princess, rescuing her from the attentions of the letcherous old moon princes. Since the wild princess was an ambassador for the city, the implied insult to lunar royalty adds spice to a tale of young love that in other respects resembles many traditional myths and legends.
No doubt the truth has been embelished over many retellings, but it does appear that he was a real person and not just the invention of storytellers.
