The Rift War Crimes Trial

The Rift War Crimes Trial was a legal process carried out at the end of the Second Rift War to bring Telberon to justice for his part in causing the war and endangering the entire realm.
The trial was carried out with scrupulous attention to the needs of evidence based justice and did not descend into a blind desire for revenge, despite the degree of suffering he had caused to Queen Mab personally and to the realm as a whole.
In escaping from Hen Tŵr Gwyn, Telberon had violated the terms of his lawful imprisonment following the conclusion of the Dangerous Magic Indictment. To that crime, was added the more serious one of the deliberate murder of Kristiina Tallis. Then, in using Forbidden Magic once again in the presence of the Primal Axion he had, admittedly unintentionally, granted the Black Web access to the Fey Court and triggered the Second Rift War which could have destroyed the entirety of everything the fey had built in the realm.
The court had no choice but to find Telberon guilty and then Queen Mab had no option but to order his execution.
