The Proton King

The Proton King is one of the more dangerous of the opportunistic powers which see a chance to expand their area of operations during the current conflict with the Stability Council.

Physical Description

Body Features

The Proton King originated in a Realm where matter is rare and vast voids of empty space expand into regions of nothingness which make the supervoids known to Earth Stable astronomers seem puny and crowded by comparison. He doesn't use chemistry to think. His mind is a pattern of pure quantum vacuum fluctuations.
When he is operating in realms close to the Borderlands, he chooses to wear a human bodily form (illustrated in the portrait) since this is better understood by his agents, but his true nature is above and beyond the limitations of the shape he adopts and considers no more than clothing.

Morality & Philosophy

The Proton King values matter in a way that those who have seen more of it, find strange. Within his own Realms, a single physical atomic particle is a jewel of rare price which he enjoys contemplating. He finds Realms where matter forms more complex structures to be alien and somewhat repulsive. His natural reaction is to limit this excess by controlling the bounty of chaotic matter, slowing it down and bringing it back to a purer state of absolute zero temperature and absolute beauty.
