Sarika Basu was the formidable leader of the Allport League in 2002 AF when the port and former trading post of Gantranne on Trasslow was granted full city status. This promoted the interests of the League on the northern continent and demonstrated their growing power to the world.
Widely considered to have been the wisest and best leader of the League, Sarika's personal wealth came from investments in the insurance industry which was an important part of the economy of Allport at that time.
