The Princess Acetta was the eldest illegitimate daughter of Emperor Myrold II of the Old Pale Empire. Always the favourite of her father she had been groomed for succession over many years when she was his only child and it was not until the much later birth of her two half sisters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Cecilia that there was any doubt about the next ruler.
The princess was victorious in the War of the Three Sisters which followed the death of Myrold II and she went on to become Empress.
