Behaviour

Pearl Hart are shy and gentle creatures, easily disturbed and quick to run. On the tundra they are subject to predation from alegoyle, whilst in the forests they are hunted by spider wolves in the day and forest mystish at night. Their collective survival strategy relies on travelling in herds where there is statistical safety in numbers and where the loss of one or two individuals periodically will not threaten the species. They generally favour the border regions between tundra and trees, running into the forests to escape aerial attack and standing more chance of outrunning spider wolves over long distances on open ground.
