Myruthean Unification Wars

The Myruthean Unification Wars are a series of conflicts which began in 4778 BPC between a number of squabbling city states, many (but not all) of which had previously operated under the laws of the so called Twelve Wise Ones.
They resulted in the formation of the Old Pale Empire in 4542 BPC, a pivotal moment in the history of the world, but the wars themselves are not considered to have concluded until the defeat of the Jebbin League in 4514 BPC, which was the last major power on the continent to retain its independence.
At this time, the vast majority of Myruthea (with some trivial exceptions which did not hold out for long) was controlled by the Old Pale Empire and therefore unified under a single model of government.
