Manish Rathore
Manish Rathore was the Raja of Katrapetch when the Old Pale Empire attacked the city during the Northern Punjuki Campaign in the fifth millenium BPC.
He marshalled the defensive forces when the city successfully repulsed General Ryland's March in 4488 BPC but was later forced to surrender after the Battle of Katrapetch in 4485 BPC.
Since the Empire was more concerned with controlling the phryne trade than it was with the details of local politics, Manish was allowed to retain his position provided he operated under the strict terms of the Empire bureaucracy and civil service and declared public fealty to the Emperor, a pattern of government which allowed the Court Circle of Katrapetch to continue with many of its traditions even under the yoke of foreign rule. The city would not regain its independence until the the Fall of the Old Pale Empire after the Planar Conformation.
