Leif Wurther was the Darkest Umbral of the Justice of the Shadows between 4580 and 4606 APC.
He was the author of the Testament Of Shadows a work he completed in 4591 APC to provide justification for the mission of the cult.

Leif Wuther was a writer who had made a living working for the scandal sheets in Nephatar. He continued this line of work, even after he was recruited by the Justice of the Shadows and his quick wit led him to rise to the rank of the Eclipsed very quickly thereafter.
Mental Trauma
Despite the loyalty he felt compelled to show to the Dark Domains, Leif by all accounts hated the work he did for them. He persuaded his masters that there was a need for a better justification than simple fear for the tasks they were doing, even if that justification was spurious and he offered to invent it for them. In so doing, he suffered a great deal of cognative dissonance and he apparently tried to commit suicide on three distinct occasions before he was allowed to succeed.
