Iteration Two in The Discontinuum | World Anvil

Iteration Two

Iteration Two of fey history was not particularly different from the current iteration in the first three ages, with only a few minor changes. Most of the significant differences came in the Age of the Steps in the Dance, where the complex problems that followed from the failed expedition of Aeronwen Gweledydd in the reign of Akasuki Ellethra never happened because the Eyesight Expedition never took place. As a consequence there was no second Rift War and king Telberon occupied the throne until his death when he was succeeded by his daughter Jassindra.   Queen Mab was never crowned in this version of history.   Echoes of the reality of iteration two survive into iteration three and further haunt the dreams of Lathkelle as she appreciates that in another unreachable reality, only one step away from the one where she lives, her daughter is the queen and not locked up in prison.
