The Diary of Clarise Vabatan contains a confession to her murder, promoted by a jealous rage, an event which made Hazel Browne the first accidental victim of the infamous mage. The maid's death and the response of her killer would prove to be a defining moment in a sinister story that would ultimately lead to the formation of the Sisters of Vabatan.
