Lords of Midnight
The governance of Midnight. Each member has a great degree of independence from one another, but are counted equal co-rulers of the city.
Military
Lord Roderic deLyons is the commander of the Midnight Armed Forces on both land and sea. His forces keep the city itself secure, as well as the nearer waters of the Kraken Bay.
Foreign Relations
This is the department of Hana Monet. She represents the city's interests to the crown, and fosters relations with other power centres.
Trade & Transport
Xander Margrave manages trade relations with the city. Imports and exports go through them, and they also oversee the maintenance of trade routes.

At least three Lords must agree in order to ratify a new law in the city. This process is often a convoluted series of blackmails, bribes, and coersions.
