Northwest Faerun

The Savage North

Northwest Faerun, also referred to as the North and the Savage North, was the region of Faerun full of untamed wilderness and difficult winter weather. It was home to many hardy folks and fearsome beasts. In spite of its reputation, the Savage North was home to three of the greatest cities in all of Faerun: Neverwinter, Waterdeep and Silverymoon.
Northwest Faerun is split into smaller regions such as the Frozenfar, the region containing Icewind Dale, and the Sword Coast North, which is home to cities such as Neverwinter and Luskan.
