The Codex Lingua

This contract allows someone to translate any language contained within the Complete Library of All Words found within the domain of Mechania. The contract states that all text translated is stored and transcribed in the Library. Which means it is available immediately to all the Daemons and Archivists of the library. This means that something meant to be kept secret may soon be available to a number of powers who consult the library or pay exorbitant fees to keep track of certain text that might comes through the contract. The other dirty secret of the library is that there are actually languages it is unable to translate, any scraps of language that lead to the deciphering of these languages is highly prized by the Archivists.
Most magic users using the spells of comprehend languages and tongues are using the powers of the Codex Lingua regardless if they know it or not. The Codex itself is a brass book and kept within the library, any removal of it would prevent these spells from operating. The book itself was compiled by the original Archivist whose name was Sveren.
The following abilities are had by the owner of the Codex
Master of Language The individual attuned to the codex can cast comprehend languages and tongues at will. They can also access the libraries archives remotely allowing them advantage on any history or knowledge check, while accessing the library their eyes glow and their body becomes unresponsive.
The Phonaesthetic One The library of languages allows for a great ability to find the perfect words for every situation. Twice per day they can cast charm monster with a dc of 20.
You do realize those aren't REAL words right? The extensive library of unusual words and domain specific jargon, can be annoying at times, but also can be used effectively to confound others. Once per week they can confuse and stun any amount of living creatures for 5 minutes without a saving throw. It will affect all who can hear it and understand the language being spoken.
The right thing to say Constructs are programmed with ideas and language. All spells cast by the holder that do not normally affect constructs can now affect them. Any disadvantage imposed due to magic resistance is no longer imposed for this caster.
With enough research Once a season the holder can learn a new spell of their choice or discover a lost secret.
