Merid Character in The Cradle of Worlds | World Anvil

Merid

Merid is the goddess of nature, renewal and the interesting. Along with Yagont, Merid is a patron of the arts. Most particularly she is interested in the creation of new forms, new dances, new physical manifestations. She is also the goddess most associated with the wild spaces, way places, and the great standing stone menhirs. Her clergy often includes druids, dancers, artisans, and inventors. Her temples include at least one part that is reconfigurable and changeable, and holidays often include a task or reorganizing or changing something in the space.   Her symbols are found on paths and way stations, placed on theaters, on tailor's shops and craftsmen's tools.
