Engelhearth: Karn's Rumor

Rumors among the warforged tell of a long lost planet that was once inhabited by the ancestors of the warforged. Some say the planet was a massive space ship and it left our system for another while others say that it was destroyed in a great war millions of years ago. There are so many ideas and stories about it. What they were like, were they really warforged, who created them, why did they disappear? These are just a few of the questions.
Many of the organic races see these rumors as myths that were started by the warforged to keep their spirits up while enslaved. There have been multiple occasions where warforged slaves rose up against their masters and rebelled. They fought and killed many of their masters and nearly liberated themselves from a city before the military was sent in to end the uprising. For this reason many planets have outlawed anything surrounding this topic. Speaking about it is usually met by swift and harsh punishment, depending on the area, sometimes death.
