The Corona Peleus Galaxy

The Corona Peleus Galaxy is a relatively young, and newly discovered, galaxy. It bares a striking resemblance to the humans' Milky Way Galaxy. There are millions of planets to be explored, but, so far there are only 12 planets that have been colonized by explorers. Most of the planets that have settlements on them only have small and still growing settlements. Three of the planets have large cities and many smaller villages and settlements that are growing all over the planet.   So far all the planets have had new life forms, both animal and humanoid. All of the races discovered are completely new and unlike anything seen so far in space exploration. Most of them are advanced in space travel and either rival or surpass their new visitors. The people on the worlds are the most hospitable in the galaxy encountered so far, this is why their planets have settlements on them. There are many other worlds with inhabitants not so kind.   The Corona Peleus Galaxy is still wild and young. It's space is traveled by pirates, raiders, and bandits. Slavery is a common issue, and many children and women are taken and lost each cycle. Smuggling is a very profitable trade. The system has large amounts of rare minerals and metals. This galaxy, is the new final frontier.
