The Jinn

Little is known about Jinn, as they often keep to themselves, living in communities of houses dug into the side of dormant volcanoes between the Amber and Starstone river. These houses often overflow with smoke, as the Jinn have a method of drilling down into the volcanoes so as to produce a never ending stream of smoke. This is because Jinn require air with a high degree of carbon to survive. Jinn breathe smoke. Jinn are humanoid, but with long horns, large eyes, and snouts. Their skin ranges in colors from bright blue to bright red. The diets of the Jinn consist mostly of bugs. It is widely believed Jinn once controlled a large amount of territory within the continent, with millions of Jinn existing, but The Crimson Empire bludgeoned the population into a fraction of its size.
