Primeads

Primeads are a humanoid species which live in the darkest depths of the earth. They have bone white skin, no eyes, noses like that of a bat, long claws, webbed feet, and open-jawed mouths with eight tongues which they use to feel around in the complete darkness. Encounters with the Primeads are extraordinarily rare, but they have been spotted by miners everywhere from Uanuk to Mdun. Some believe they may be a species which both dwarves and vampires descend from. It is unclear whether the Primeads are sapient or not.
