Ruined Outer City of Orungor

"Over three thousand years ago the Kingdom of Ballaer was the first of of the Dwarven Kingdoms to fall in the Dragon War. What was once a magnificent kingdom of jewelers and architects was reduced to little more than ruined and collapsed tunnels.   At the foothills of the Ballaeran Mountains was the city of Orungor, the capital of the once mighty dwarven kingdom of the west. The exterior city was a marvelous feet of architecture that, even thousands years later, is a testament to the superiority of dwarven craftsmanship. The interior has since collapsed and is little more than a collection of narrow passages and cave systems. The ruins of the outer city still stand and are home to dwarven clans in exile.   Various clans have claimed the ruins of Orungor as their home throughout history. Currently the Whitebeard clan has made their home in the old city. To them its grounds are sacred and they guard it with their lives. They are lead by Oriwyn Wyvernbane, an old dwarf that claims to be a direct descendent from the old king of Ballaer and he makes no secret of his ambition to restore the old kingdom."   D. Harewood, Fendalian Cartographer
