Baron Arfur of Lonshard (a.k.a. The Dirty Baron)

Arfur is the Baron of West Mire and the lord of Lonshard.
The Dirty Baron is the only Lord of the Swamps that still remains in power and has not been taken out by any of the bandit-kings. He appears to be in an alliance with Viper, who ensures that any threat against the Baron is taken out before it can reach him. Meanwhile, he continues to rule over Lonshard and the Westmire. He is fiercely hated by the Duke of Arnallan, who requires passage through Lonshard for trade. The duke’s trade ships are heavily taxed at the toll house, or denied permission. Depending on the situation, the Baron can hold the ships at the Tollhouse, delaying the Duke’s trade options and giving the Baron significant leverage over the Duke and his foreign policies.
