The Raven Clan Burning

Civil action

Leaving the feegles and facing a storm, the party defeats a roving storm giant. The storm clears to reveal the Raven Clan home in the distance and a line of smoke. Fearing the worst they make haste and arrive that evening in time to see the Raven Clan Jarl's funeral ship floating in the bay. The party begins to investigate his death. While checking on a potential suspect the group is attacked by ghosts implicating the village priest. However Sigrid seeks redemption from her aberration induced madness and appeals to Odin in a ritual cleansing herself of the taint and gaining the Spear of Odin.   The next day before the party can accuse the priest, he accuses the village priest. Sigrid challenges him to a battle of truth, but the priest opts for trial by combat. Sigrid and her seconds defeat the priest and his two children.   Meanwhile the reason the previous Jarl was killed; the peace treaty with the Daher and the Elves is moving to its next step as representatives arrive to negotiate now with the newly appointed Jarl; Sigrid. An agreement is reached and the clan prepares for war.
