The Harrows

The original pass between the divide in Lord Gaz’roc’s lands, cursed by the bloody deaths of an army ten thousand strong during the beginning of the The Civil War of Gaz'roc. Nothing grows in the stretch of wasteland where ghosts of the soldiers roam and steam of the magical weapons still rise from the cracks in the grounds. Very few ever enter the Harrows and live to tell about it. The neighboring area around the region is know as the badlands and most settlements established there meet a gruesome undead end.

Historical Note: During the civil war, many mages would escape their Templar pursuers into the Harrows rather then be captured or collared. If they were lucky, the Templars would leave them alone to circle back to civilization before meeting an untimely end. Most however, didn't have such luck.
