Session 015: Traversing the Dark Report

General Summary

The party was feeling a little lost in what direction they should take to rescue the children they failed to save last week. With an amazing religious fever, Roy asked his god for guidence and the god Cayden Cailean (pronounced KAY-den KAY-lee-en) answered. The party was transported to Hero’s Heart (Elysium) in a massive tavern full of ghostly Firebrands and other more living worshipers. Kartika and Revnna swung on a chandolier in the midst of festivities. They each now have a cercomstancial +1 Acrobatics for thier antics. Vegam tried to join them but fell down on the table bellow. He stood up, cheering the crowd as if it was nothing, earning him a +1 cercomstance for Deception of Bravo. By spinning a tale of bravery, Vegam also recieved a small vial of liquor that gives the weapon he pours it on ghost touch. This vial has 5 uses. Revnna also found out that there may be a lot of climbing in the Darklands from some souls who used to live there. Roy met an aspect of Cayden Cailean and told him their quest to save the children. Cayden stated "such a quest is an excellent attestimate of your lineage" and told Roy that Barley could find any alcohol. If Roy asked Barely to find the spirit Spider's Milk in the Darklands, Barely would sniff out the nearest settlement. Cayden also gave Roy a small glowing vial of liquid telling him "if it gets too dark, this will shine the way". With their goal acheived, the party jumped in a vat of beer and popped back in the martial plane. The party decided to buy some climbing gear, which Roy ultimately stole. Durring the "haggling" Vegam insulted the quality of the Wizard's Emporium goods and subquencely his summoning coins have started to rot. As they left the town, they noticed a camp of refugees forming outside the city walls from Manadh. They travelled for two hours before nightfall and decided to rest near the road. In the middle of the night, they were attacked by a shadow demon that was able to possess them, forcing the party to fight its own members. The demon also tried to tempt Revnna and nearly did, showing her a future of what would happen to someone she cared if she did not accept. The party ultimately defeated the demon and Vegam used one dose of his ghost touched liquor.
