The Green Hive

Commonly called "The Green Hive" describes a social group of beetle-like creatures, which lives in the green dimension.   The green hive is commonly used by the broodmother as a beach head force in order to take foot in a dimension. This is done because each creature fo the green hive has been turned into a conductor for the energy of the brood mother. As such, the natural tendency of the hive to grow and spread always creates a large conductive element for the power of the broodmother, which will allow her to influence a dimension more directly.   The following kinds of creature have been spotted inside of a hive:

Nesting behaviour

The green hive tends to choose small forests as the construction site of their nests. The hives are partially created underground and partially created overground. During the initial construction, the hive workers begin digging downwards from their chosen nesting side, creating several large tunnels diving deep into the earth below the forest the hive has chosen as their location, creating a network of interconnected tunnels and caverns used to house the queen, the larva, food and such. The material excavated from these caverns is moved upwards by the hive workers and used to create a mound of dirt around the hive site, creating a primitive defensive structure.   The Plant workers on the other hand will begin to manipulate the trees on top of the hive section. These hive workers are able to fuse and merge the branches of the trees on top of the hive section, forming a dense, fused canopy on top of the hive. Below this fused canopy, acting as a roof for the hive, several platforms are created from the branches of the trees and glued dirt and rocks from below. These platforms tend to be used as perching places and staging grounds for the hive soldiers, as well as temporary storage for foraged material from around the hive or captured or killed food, before this will be moved down into the actual hive caverns.
