EP 56 AFTER THE HOLLOWS

Hey everyone, I’m pretty worn out from some recent events so this episode is gonna be no frills, no music, just me venting a bit. Let’s start with the recent episode 55. Don’t worry I am totally fine. I’m not exactly sure what that was but I can say this about the Hollows. Ghosts are real! There’s a lot of them in the Hollows! Don’t go there if you value your sanity! I’m just lucky I met a few FRIENDLY GHOSTS while I was there. So thank you Happy, Hoody, Nora Jones, Chaos, and the Queen. You all didn’t seem to like me much, but you did help me get outta that place and you know, actions speak louder than words. So… Thank You.
I’ll come back to the hollows in a bit. What I really want to talk about is, well you might not like this but hear me out. Let’s have a talk about all the controversy surrounding Eugenia Excalibur!
EXCALIBUR RUINED MY LIFE;. This was one of the headlines in the days following the Happy Apple disaster. It seems h A young single mother of 2 was ordered by Eugenia Excalibur to direct traffic for hours. She didn’t get home in time and her day care provider was pissed! Boom! No more day care, missed work the next day while looking for new day care, no more work. No more work meant couldn’t pay the rent and just like that her and her kids are homeless. When asked why she did it she said “Ms Excalibur just has a way of talking, I just felt like I had to obey her. I felt like she was a queen and I was her servant…….FADE OUT
NARRATOR: so what do think so far? I’m the narrator by the way. So basically Ryan goes on for the next 10 minutes straight RANTING about all of Eugenias exploits.
I wonder why he would do that? Did someone threaten him? Is he trying to send a message? A message that the Black Report will not be bullied into silence. Or maybe he’s just being a crazy conspiracy theorist. Hmm.. well, I’m not sure, Let’s check back in see where he goes with this.
RYAN: Remember when Cross End had the water contamination crisis a few years ago. Avalon was quick to rush to their aid, BUT it was reported that approximately 4.2 million dollars was made by Empire Bottling Co. on the sale of bottled water. You thought the conspiracy ended there, wrong! Rumors had it that it was all a setup to test some kind of drug that Empire had put in the bottled water. Scientists tested the water and found an unknown agent in the bottled water. No one could identify it or what effects it was supposed to have. FADE OUT
NARRATOR: this doesn’t sound good, it’s almost like our host has it in for this Eugenia character. Let me just run through some of the highlights and spare you the pain.
“LOCAL DAIRY FACTORY EMPLOYEE CLAIMS THAT SHE IS THE REAL EUGENIA EXCALIBUR”. “SECRET SOCIETY OF AVALON MAKES DEAL WITH ALPHA DRACONIANS TO RULE WINEGARDEN”. And many of the stories seem to point to a plot to infiltrate all the important positions in winegarden like this one “EUGENIA EXCALIBUR SECRETLY ARRANGED THE “ACCIDENTAL” DEATH OF CHARITY CALIBURN” . The claim was Eugenia needed to create an opening so that she could marry old Bertrand and claim control over their money for the Excalibur’s!
Oh, wait, there’s a good part coming up. This is where Ryan is going to shift gears. let’s listen in...
RYAN: you know it drives me nuts when journalist don’t follow up on stuff. I promise you when we report something we keep track of it and if new info comes to light we’ll let you know even if it turns out that we have to admit that we were WRONG!. What the news didn’t bother to tell you is what happened to the woman directing the traffic after the story ran. We have learned that within 24 hours of that story going public, Eugenia Excalibur found this woman, got her set up in a new apartment, and even set her up with a nice new job with Empire Corp. She’s now got full dental and health, a 401 K and free day care provided at her place of work!
Let’s also look at the water contamination story. I decided to REALLY look and see where the link with the Eugenia actually occurred. And all i found was a picture showing Eugenia Excalibur handing out water to those in need, and she happens to have some dollar bills in her hand. This photo accompanied the infamous Babette’s mudslinging story on the whole thing. That photo ran with just about every story about the incident, including on the Black Report Flyer. WELL I WAS WRONG. This was totally out of context. Further investigation has revealed that she was giving money away! Empire bottling corp did make the money, but only because Avalon run by Eugenia Excalibur paid for 100% of it and gave it away. I guess Percival wasn’t as willing to give so Eugenia stepped up and made sure ole grandpa didn’t lose any money in the process. The only chemical in the bottled water was FLOURIDE. Which leads us to believe someone was trying to divert attention away from the original cause of the crisis and shift the blame to Eugenia. Everyone just seemed to forget the failure of the water treatment facility run by a small subsidiary of the Caliburns. FADE OUT….. I thought what else did we get wrong about that story? So i dived back in! Well, strong evidence suggests that the water samples tested were switched! The bottled water was fine, the only chemical in it was! The strange unnamed contaminate was ACTUALLY in the drinking water. When it was discovered they tried to frame Eugenia Excalibur. Who is they? Well, the water plant was run by a small subsidiary owned by Pendragon and the Caliburns. The water testing scientist were employed by another smaller subsidiary of the Caliburns. So you decide, what was Helene up to? What was she testing? And by the way, Helene is the one who benefitted most from Charity’s Caliburns demise. Hmm.. I’m sensing a common denominator in all these stories. Let’s look…...

NARRATOR; Ryan has shifted gears dramatically and is now linking each and every excalibur conspiracy to a plot by the Caliburns to infiltrate every power center in the city, from winegarden to the capital. The traffic jams were caused by polititians trying to gain support for new traffic bills, not by the Happy Apple collapsing, Eugenia was simply trying to maintain order! Drinking water treatment plant was run by a small subsidiary of Pendragon and it did have unknown chemicals in it that were believed to be an illegal test of the product on the people of Cross End… The one with the most to gain from Charity Caliburns death was NOT Eugenia excalibur. The local Dairy worker who claims to be the real Eugenia, well, he couldn’t really explain that one but anyway here comes the big finale lets listen in...
RYAN; well there you go. Eugenia Excalibur has been a victim of a plot to frame her to cover up all the misdeeds of Helene Caliburn. Helene has been secretly working to gain power, pretty standard stuff for the rich folks up in Winegarden. But, it didn’t sit right with me. There’s someone working behind her, using her to push their own agenda. When I dug into Helene’s past I found the answer and it was obvious.
She’s a goddamn witch! For Gods sake she attended the Salem school for girls! Her Halloween costumes growing up were Sabrina the teenage witch, Wanda Maximof, Elpheba, Galadriel, Hela, Hermione Granger, and Morgan Le Fay. All this shit that we thought was her, well it was, but the Witches have been grooming her since she was a child. So that she could infiltrate the Winegarden elite and help exacto their revenge on the Catholics, Camlenns, and all the Winegarden elite who oppose them. 120 years ago their plot failed and everyone thought they quietly faded into the mist, but they’ve been plotting and manipulating quietly until they have enough pieces in place to exact their final revenge. Which may be soon. Who else is in service to the witches? I know now that fucking Eugenia Excalibur sure the hell isn’t! Or at least I hope not! Eugenia if you happen to hear this, be wary of the witches! They are hidden amount us! Make sure you know your allies. Where did they come from? Who do they answer too?
Which brings us back full circle to my experience in the Hollows. 120 years ago the witches summoned a flying demon to destroy the city. Let’s cut the bullshit and call it what it is a dragon. A Camlenn shot it down, blah blah blah, you know the story right. Well, what if, that dragon crashed in the hollows. From it’s corpse grew a tree so red and evil that it infected the rest of the forest. It’s crash destroyed the Almacé menagerie. It’s pile of bones is still there, I fucking climbed it! It’s blood and essence seeped into the ground and infected everything that grows there and became the Red Tree. The vision I had when I went to the witch was. They were sending me there to draw Eugenia and the not so friendly friends into a trap. It’s obvious I can’t believe I didn’t see it before! That’s all I got, my mind has been blown, good night!

When they reach the scenic overlook the fool gave out a cheer
