224: Laid to Rest

General Summary

Previously on.. Flashbacks of Cy’s moments in the story. Mora with the Kissa’s at the Akhet Tea House, Cy at Dee’s shop looking for Amber, Cy and Eath’s car ride with Francis and Kit and fireballs, in the prison when Dee asks Cy to run interference so they can proceed down to the basement, and Mora receiving the invitation to come and celebrate their life.

Cold open-

Talks about newly exposed land (probably Capricorn Park?)

Cy leaving a boat and approaching 3 figures.

The city is a wreck, this seems to be during the Calamity.

Oza is strong and proud “are they ready?”

“Everyone has a role to play.”

“Sneak onto the island.”

Screeching noise overhead referred to as like a woman tearing her hair out.

You all have had a week.

Inside the Dark House only 5 minutes passed.

Francis has Ze Rug and chess piece hidden in his floorboard.

Kit doesn’t understand what a memorial actually is and asks Kat to come with.

Excalibur still has green eyes, she drives herself.

Dee wears a BLACK suit and decides against inviting Michel.

Mora brings antique teapot as a gift.

Francis borrows his fathers suit from Felicity. He's too big so the coat tears.

Arrivals at around 3 pm

Mora, Nef hugs her and thanks for coming

Jackie is there

Tamica- The greeter at the Tea house (sleeper)

Dreary Mayweather- 6’9” Talks in unintelligible whispers

Kit and Kat arrive and Nef bows to Kit

Nef concerned if Mrs Ikeda sent Kat

Nef talked about maybe mending bridges between the families

Dee and Francis arrive, Nef greets warmly

Kit asks Dee which one she is (correct answer she’s the Black Dee)

Kat explains to Kit that they’re at a funeral

Excalibur arrives and Nef bows to her

She has brief conversation with Jackie about how Gill wants to go back to their old place but Jackies isn’t ready yet

Lets Francis and Co. know her eyes are still green and that the Dark House was not just a dream.

Eath and Oza enter- Oza is very frail

Cy’s Items

Eath and Oza speak- Thank everyone for taking part in journey to lay Cy’s memories to rest in place of their actual body

Everyone then says some words and takes one of Cy’s items (see sidebar)

Everyone praises Cy for his sacrifice for the cause.

The 3 Kissas also have items, 3 small Jars

The journey begins

Kissas explain we need to travel to the docks

Everyone is seeing the world through the eyes of their Egyptian mythos now. So the kitchen has old potter jars and dirt and hay on the ground, the car is a donkey pulled wagon, the city is an old desert city, etc.

The sky is just at sunset, can see moon and stars similar to what Kit saw on the ceiling when they broke into the 3rd floor of the tea house in season 1

Must protect the items or you’ll lose the enchantment

The goals

1. Take the donkey wagon to the docks
2. Golden barge over the water
3. At final burial place lay the items of Cy’s memories because we don’t have the actual body

Hey everybody, a whole bunch more cool stuff happens after this but, I must have lost those pages of notes! Here’s what I can say off the top of my head….
Andy: the wagon was bumpy.
Ryan Roswell: someone needs new shocks on their car
Andy: you all got chased by some Hyena’s.
Ryan Roswell: there was a huge police chase downtown! I think someone escaped from prison
Andy: Francis used his Egyptian powers to create like an earthquake
Ryan Roswell: it wasn’t escaped convicts. It was anti-something extremists that set off a bomb that destroyed a street and injured a bunch of people!
Andy: Eugenia used a Rocket Launcher on the hyenas
Ryan Roswell: then the extremists started firing missles at the civilians, wait, did you say Eugenia Excalibur!
Andy: there was a guy riding a hyena
Ryan Roswell: Motorcycle cop of course! You know I told you this was gonna happen way back in episode 35. The prison warden is corrupt! Helix Labs is making alien clone babies and they’re growing them at the prison. These escaped convicts are probably the good guys you know!

Side note- Each item grants the player a theme based on Egyptian mythology that they can use for this campaign, while temporarily replacing one of their own
