Velma back from her Hostess snowball run, said someone at front desk wanted to leave message for Eugenia.  She got pale and scarred and ran out. Velma gives you an envelope with the message.

Velma tells Eugenia “just remember the walls don’t just have ears, they have eyes too”

Eugenia is a wreck from drinking last night.

the note says “Eugenia Excalibur, you wanted to know the next time I’m meeting with Octavius excalibur, I’m meeting him tonight. Come to the March Hare’s tonight.  -Tourmaline”

Francis:

Carmen has results of her study on the drink from the wedding.  

1. It’s an organic substance, doesn’t know what it is but it functions as kind of a stimulant
2. compared it to 2 compounds that are similar, first is new drug, police have confiscated from the Skulls gang (Maria’s gangs)
3. second is your blood, possibly derived from the same thing

police haven’t been successful at stopping this drug the Skulls are pushing.

They think something is going on at the March Hare’s Lare.   Francis agrees To go and try to get more samples.

-Francis calls Dee- she convinces him to wear a tux
Mora:

her whole op is torched and she’s starting from scratch

a shitty person is selling private encryption keys which have information on the 3 locations where the Theta Project information is stored.

he’s selling them in person tonight at the smugglers ball

Kit & Dee:

go to Naga’s apothecary shop

there’s a pickup truck in the alley behind the place with a guy in front seat

Dee creates a scarab beetle communication device

Dee checks out the truck, dude is on his phone

she’s a total ninja and sneaks around the truck and in the front door

kit parkours up to 2nd floor and slide into the window and you fall on their ass, giving a loud groan, Dee hears it and someone else hears it too.

Dee notices that it looks like someone is turning the place over- there’s an old lady at the bottom of the stairs that calls out “is there someone up there?”

Dee- uses mask to look like the dude in the truck and says “shit, i saw cops we gotta go”

“I told you to stay in the car”  she pulls out a pistol, “they won’t notice us, Naga’s protections are pretty strong” we were lucky to be able to get in, go back to the car”

Dee pistol whips her-and knocks her out.

Kit sees guy from the car knocked out an old lady, but hears Dee’s voice when he talks,  and it’s a little weird

Dee takes cash and pistol from lady

she also has a small vial of something which Kit takes.

Kit finds a secret door in closet in Naga’s bedroom but can’t open the latch

Kit could have sworn you felt Naga walk in the room. where have you been? Accusatory and shock

Dee find antique scales and tools that are pretty valuable to her so she takes them.  Her status of petty cash increases to bonus money

seems like someone has already looked through this.

Kit tells Dee they need help with a door “locked doors are my speciality”

inside is mostly Naga’s top shelf potions. 4 things that look personal. Kit feels like maybe Naga was expecting to come back

1. Ornate music box- antique that will find a great home in Dee’s store
2. Hatpin with a cameo that is the image of a single tooth
3. empty bottle with faint memory of golden liquid inside it
4. faded photo of Naga in front of a different storefront with young girl next to her(kit saw in subway vision)

-Dee told to meet Geo at the Docks at Capricorn Park and his sad little boat -Dee is wearing a fabulous Flapper Dress, Francis in a tux with no tie there’s still a cake stain on it, Geo in form fitting suit -Dee takes a creepy photo of Geo to torture her brother -Eugenia can’t go there, she’s not welcome ( I don’t know why, this was before my time as a fan of this show) -Mora will join Eugenia. -Kit at my favorite park. Try to smuggle themselves on the boat. More success coming from downtown side Crossing the fork in the river as you pass through the center a chill passes through you and then it’s gone -Docks right outside of March Hare’s Lare- docks are full- guards checking for invites -sec guard has black eye, other one has a sling for his arm? -Dee tells him that he’s the bodyguard and the invite covers 2 guests and bodyguard is included. -underground social club, it’s got spaces and low ceilings, lots of different rooms. Big band music- -Geo has someone he wants to avoid. Woman in zoot suit-not smiling, cool clinical eye on everything, Tabitha Page-buyer for house AZIZ she was the original buyer and they’re not happy with Geo that the deal fell through. Let’s avoid her
-Eugenia and Mora arrive- you’ve never been so how would you know where it is. -Eugenia full Catherine Hepburn outfit, she walks right past the guards -Mora follows her lead in bodyguard persona -Eugenia Deja Vu Have you been here before? -there’s a reason it’s under winegarden and not noticed by winegarden
Mora got a good description of the guy she’s looking for, the name is “theshankweezle99”.
Kit-make myself look like a shadow and sneaks in Eugenia reminds us all that she wants chess pieces Mora looking for shankweezle and anything like monday night
-Excalibur asks mora to find kit, Kit responds weird to Eloise (mrs x in disguise) -What are you doing here? -Kits tells her about the Brewery. EX has lots of questions -Mora says didn’t the brewery collapse? -Kit says they’re here just on a whim. -Ex says don’t drink or do drugs. Mora will take Kit on her mission -ex reminds them to look for chess pieces-winegarden rumors She’s gonna be at the bar -“God did she seem like, cranky”
Francis, asks Geo about the drug the skulls are selling. Usually easy to ID. Most wear big skull jewelry.
Eugenia, recognizes could have sworn you just saw Prescilla go in the next room over. She goes in that direction. It’s actually Margaret and she’s looking for someone. -texts Prescilla-about smugglers ball and Margaret. Cell service
Dee- talking with Geo- geo recognizes eyepatch lady, Bo Peep, Mareno is with her, he was the one asking about antique guns at her shop. -Dee leaves room with Geo to avoid Peep because Peep sent the sheep after him
Francis- “what’s in the pocket” -Bumps into haggard looking, twitchy guy -he keeps saying he needs it gone, a rug -he keeps putting hand in pocket, it’s an Ivory Pawn-Francis takes it -he talks about the dreams being so vivid -
Mora -spots Shankweezle and asks Kit if they’ll pick his pocket -Mora tries to distract him but fails big time and he get’s up and leaves -Kit goes after him, Someone notices
Eugenia -goes to another room, recognizes Tormaline, She was the mastermind of the Vault theft from season 1. -Eugenia goes to her and say’s “I got your note” to which she says follow me back into the caves and you’ll find what you’re looking for” -Tormaline seems nervous, Eugenia offers to ruin her life and everyone she loves, or she offers her protection and will get her out of the city. After some convincing Tormaline chooses the later -promises to get her out and that her family won’t be connected to this -Tormaline says “It knows you’re hear, The Lair. It said I could get in good graces if I brought you to it” -mentions something about the Caliburns getting back at her and her family, -We have to go NOW! -Margaret steps in front of Eugenia
Dee -what motivates Dee? -chaos -knowledge -archaology hunk
Francis -notice there’s a lot more frogs. -Twitchy guy has a small sailboat and show’s Francis the rug -he offers to tell how the chess piece works -it can help you convince people, but you have to charge it -Francis takes the guys $20 and a lighter, And the Rug -the guy prepares to cast off, and the frogs go quiet and stare at Francis -BOOM! Something big hits the boat and it rocks back and forth -“that ain’t good” as a bunch of boats get hit by the underwater creature -Francis puts the rug in Geo’s boat, puts on a life jacket and a Raiders baseball hat -there’s a large burts of bubbles coming up from deep in the water next to where Francis is standing
Mora -woman with 2 skull earrings asks her if she’s “Maria’s girl” -her names Lupe’ and she and another henchman/woman? Pin Mora in a booth -they work for Samuel
Kit -Shankweezle goes into a men’s bathroom, kit follows -as he walks past to leave they pick his pocket -small shiny compact block case, Kit can’t open it, but they have it -security guard is waiting right outside the bathroom -he says Kit needs to come with them, the General Manager wants to see you
Geeking out: -GM reveals that Smiling Jenny Baker is the old lady Dee Pistol whipped -talk about leveling up, Leah has 1 theme and Jamie has 2 that need leveling up
