216: Calling All Beasts II
General Summary
Introduction
Johnny Lockwood is the DJ at the Brewery tonight. Betty covered his shift at the station and he’s playing the top hits of 2009. He takes some time to talk about the top movies of 2009 and the Black Report. He makes a lot of Make a hard choice references. Recap: -people are on the rooftop garden-been given objective to look for traitor
-there’s a big announcement from Ty at 11:00 that you think is a sacrifice
“Is That Marijuana?”
-jimmy expresses concern about being too close to marijuana-is pot legal in the city, yes it is
-Coach Brinks becomes a named character
-Kit gets footage from Doc with Ty’s list of “trust/don’t trust” people
-Ty is trying to get everyone to take nicknames
-Emma is having none of that
-it’s mentioned that Aaron from fight club came out of Ty’s office
-Emma said, “he’s harmless, he helped me”
-also mentioned that he defected a month ago

-Lenny and Doc agree that naming one crew “beasts” and another “wild beasts” is dumb
-Kit- Ty’s one of us, everyone deserves a chance
-Doc- he’s a psychopath
-Kit thinks Ty is scared, and tells crew there’s a Mole in the beasts
-Bee is really fascinated that Lenny remembers everything she reads
-after list is shared Lenny tells them she doesn’t think Ezra is anything to worry about
-Kit asks “how well do you know Allie?” , just as Allie is walking up…Awkward
A few minutes Earlier
-Allie is on roof talking to Liza and the figure with the Salmon mask-liza “they saw what you did want to know more”
-Allie tells her the mirror lets her see what’s real
-Liza asks for her to try it on her
-see through the mist- Liza comes from a ruined manor house, broken and burned. Someone there still resents her for leaving.
-“I’m glad you got got out” “They’re still looking for you”
-Fishface touches Liza’s back and her eyes glow gold and she says “that’s very impressive skills”
-Fishface gives her an offer to become an Oracle but “it will further the decide between you and them”
-Allie backs off a bit when she says this, she will consider it
-“let me know if you’d like to take up a wild hunt”
-She then goes to join the others just as Kit says “how well do you know Allie”
“Not very well, we all just met last week”
-Kit apologize, Allie is unconcerned-Allie informs them Liza isn’t involved she just likes hangin out here
-Kit texts Raven “where are you? Did SHE (his mythos) call you”
-no response, Bee says she’ll go find him
-Kit tells everyone that Raven sees things before they happen
-Francis texts kits “are you coming to the BBQ?”
-Excalibur drunk texts Kit
-“For the love of God, does anyone have a better plan”
-Allie says Akira is the only one haven’t talked to lets go find her
-Kit shows everyone a photo so they know what she looks like
“Have you seen a James Bond movie?”
-Lenny and Jimmy go to Bottling Floor-hang in a corner and Lenny studies the patterns of the movements of the people to see where things are happening
-3 places of interest
- A raised area where a lone figure (Griffin) stands as if guarding. This is basically Ty’s “throne”.
- Might be a fight at the fire exits on the other side
- Something weird is going at the Skate Park
-Lenny tells him it’s like a James Bond movie, the beasts are Britain and the Wild Beasts are Russia and there’s a spy. So we’re looking for Goldfinger
-Jimmy tries to listen with his big ears and hears someone say “south side LaCrosse team sucks”
“I gotta go beat someone up”
-“you’d leave me alone here?”-“you’ll be fine” Jimmy says as he leaves Lenny
-Jimmy almost gets in fight but the others back down
-a beautiful girl claps and say’s “well done”
-Jimmy simply responds with “I got a girlfriend, sort of, ish”
-she asks him to go somewhere more secluded to discuss LaCrosse
-Jimmy runs off to find Lenny
Lenny’s Nightmare
-she’s by herself for 10 minutes and “people are talking”-decides to stay put and wait for Jimmy
-He comes back and she say’s “who’s this other girl?”
-he tries to point her out but can’t find her in the crowd
“Do you guys want some power bars”
-Kit, Doc, and Allie do their own search-Doc offers everyone power bars, Kit and Doc both partake
-Allie tries to use the mirror to locate Akira
-sees eyes closed, muttering, ripping toilet paper, yelling “occupied “ and swearing
-they head to the bathroom just off the old bottling floor
-Doc offers to smoke bomb the place to draw them out
-Allie tries a different approach “hey! I’m looking for Akira”
-they find her in one of the stalls, Kit tries to get her to talks she won’t
-Allie sits on gross bathroom floor and tries talking
-Kit asks about what the wild beasts did, is anyone bothering you”
-reply is “Griffin, I mean Liza”
-Kit tires to reach out a hand “how can I help”
-she relies “just tell Ty to stop”
-Akira busts out door with Scary cat illusion Allie +1 freaked out, Doc +2 freaked out
-kit doesn’t make a move to stop her
“What do we do?”
-Jimmy and Lenny see Akira storm out of the bathroom and they follow her-they see her tug on an older girls (Ronni) arm and then head out to the skate park
-“she’s getting away, Jimmy decides not to chase and the other 3 catch up
-Lenny fills everyone in on the 3 locations that were weird
-points at Ronni
-Doc wants to go after Akira, asks Jimmy “you wanna go on a hunt?”
-Jimmy stays with Lenny but Allie decides to follow Doc
-Jimmy shapeshifts to use his wolf senses better
-learns that Ronni doesn’t seem to have a smell
-Ronni goes to the half pipe
Chase!
-Doc follows Akira out to the fire escape-she went up the fire escape but there’s someone blocking the way
-Kid is in All Black say’s “now now, where are you going?”
-Allie uses her mirror to distract him, with a replica of herself playing a trumpet
“Found him finally”
-Bee texts Kit that she found Raven back in the hall by Ty’s office-Kit wants to make sure Jimmy and Lenny are ok
-Jimmy says cool sports things like “you’re always on the team” and Coach Brinks says “communication is paramount”
-Lenny did notice people were acting different around Ronni
-Lenny and Jimmy will follow Bee to “see if she’s Russian”
-Kit goes to find Raven
Dust
-finds Akira at the far end, his “frightened tag has worn off”-convinces her to not go anywhere
-learn that Akira is the one who likes Doc’s #tysucks
-Akira says Ty is going to drag us into a war and no one wants that
-guy from stairwell come up behind Doc
-My Names Dust
“I didn’t see your texts, I was talking to Ty”
-Kit goes to meet Raven and Bee-he says he was talking to Ty and he didn’t see her texts
-What were you and Ty talking about
-Ty’s vision for the future, wants a Clan, unite everyone for a Glorious future with him at the head, and he wants Raven with him.
-gave Raven some premium spray paint and wants a mural
-talking about an oath of fealty
-Ronni knew someone was a spy and they’re trying to flush them out
-Kit tells Raven to go paint but do it somewhere else because Ty’s just using him
“Doc’s Hard Choice”
-Allie sneaks up close to Doc, Akira, and Dust so she can listen-Dust points out that they agree that Ty’s a monster and he talks about how he’s caused problems with him and his friends
-he has a snake tongue
-Doc has tattoos on his arms of whips
-Dust says there are many types of monsters and Doc could learn with the monsters in order to learn to fight them.
-temps him with help to find the vengeance Doc wants, not Ty, the other vengeance
-Allie sends text to group “ROOF NOW!”
-Dust says “let the little cat (Akira) go and we’ll wait for you across the river, we can train in ways these domesticated creatures can’t”
-Doc replies with a simple “We’ll see”
-Dust says he needs Akira and he’s happy to keep talking if Doc will listen
“Take a walk with me kids, Ty wants to talk to you”
-Griffin is basically guarding the throne-Jimmy investigates, Griffin has animalistic posture but isn’t a ghost or a robot, he’s defending the throne and is taking his job very seriously
-Ronni comes up behind them and says “take a walk with me kids, Ty wants to talk to you”
-they go backstage, not in the direction of Ty’s office.
-Ronni says it’s top secret and that Ty is in a different location
“Roof NOW”
-Kit gets the text from Allie and heads to the roof-Dust does some evil monologue about knowing pain of losing a father figure, celebrate, raise glasses to your bloodshed
-Doc is hit with a hypnotic trance +1
Level up in Defining Event and some other tag
-Dust does some weird egging doc on to hit him or something
-Ally sneak around fails
-Akira projects image of herself sitting, swearing again, eyes closed
-Dust just smiles, So this means they got away or something and they’re not really there anymore, maybe, I don’t know
-Kit arrives tells guy to back away
-He say’s “we’re just talking”
-“Who are you”. “No one you need to concern yourself with”
-Kit is hypnotized +2 by Dust
-someone notices a leaf on the roof that rolls right through Akira
-Dust tells Kit there’s something wrong with Akira and they should go attend to her
-then tell Doc to “come along” “i have a previous engagement I must attend”
-Doc says no we’re staying
-Allie tries to hook Doc with umbrella but misses and hooks one of the stoners in the garden
-Dust Leaves the scene
-Doc goes after him (was she under his spell or was she trying to stop him)
-Kit goes to grab Akira’s hand and the illusion falls apart, there’s nothing there
“Lenny’s Hard Choice”
-Ronni is leading them into an old area of the Brewery-out of the shadows comes the beautiful girl that Jimmy talked to earlier
-“is this your girlfriend-ish”
-“So Ronni, you said Ty wanted to talk to us”
-She decides Jimmy is too dumb and speaks to Lenny
-offers an opportunity, Ty took something and we want it back, he stole it
-also offers Dark Knowledge to help her reach her full potential
-Jimmy makes a comment about how this is like a college recruiter making an illegal offer
-She offers the warning “make your way home to avoid what’s to come”
-Lenny and Jimmy go back the way they came instead of leaving
-when they get back to the bottling room
Ezra announces “It’s Time”
