Ravyn (a.k.a. R@V3N)
Ravyn, aka Morty Applebaum, is a rebellious but basically sweet-natured teenager being raised by his grandmother in a crumbling OShaughnessy Brownstone in Little Dublin. To those who can see beyond the mist he has raven feathers around his face, in his hair, and growing along his shoulders.
After the events of 9/22/17, he has developed a terrible crush on Kitsuni (Kit) Kori but will never act on it or expect anything good to come from it. He is an artist in both traditional and graffiti media (his graffiti artist signature is R@v3n.) Ravyn tends to gravitate toward strong father figures and feels set adrift following the sudden and violent loss of Bear. Ravyn is a core member of The Beasts.
Bio:
Shortly after the Christmas episode, Ravyn’s grandmother contracted a particularly bad strain of the flu virus and needed care at Saint Sanctuary County Hospital. Rather than send her home to the questionable but well meaning 17 year old boy, the staff sent her to a recovery home until she was strong enough to care for herself once more.
Kit caught wind of his predicament and insisted that Ravyn stay with them at La Tour dArgent instead of going home to an empty apartment every night. In a surprising gesture Kit allowed Raven into their My Chill Space, a room usually prohibited to all outsiders. Over the next two weeks the pair bonded and settled into a very comfortable companionship which spilled beyond their shared cohabitation. A close friendship was formed and the two are often seen hanging out together.
