The City of Londinion

Londinion, sometimes also called ‘The Great Wen’. A city of more than two million inhabitants. An old town, which through the ages grew from a small trading settlement to the capital of the nation. Because of current technological developments, the harbor area is taking up more and more space, often times replacing existing residential areas. The inhabitants of Londinion are open to other peoples and cultures. After all, their riches have come from trade. Travelers and visitors can find a warm welcome in the city, if they don't happen to walk into the wrong boroughs, where they could be just as easily robbed or captured.   Multiple boroughs can be found in Londinion, each with their own specific character. Think of the slums, the areas of pompous nobles, an area full of former slave traders or an area for the wealthy factory owners. The city is close to the shore, and a broad river runs through it. Outside of town are a few mountains, but mostly it's grass lands and hillsides. There are a few farms directly outside of the city, but the area overall is only sparsely populated. Londinion has a moderate climate. The summers could bring a heat wave here and there, and winters a bit of snow, but never real extreme weather.
