The Breeze
The Breeze is a place of endless skies. The deep azure void stretches out, infinitely, in all directions, and there are directions. There is an up and there most defiantly is a down. Things that fall here will fall forever or, at least, until they die of thirst or starvation in the case of a living creature. Nor is it empty. The blue emptiness is filled with white clouds of all types. From the gentle wisps of cirrus to massive rolling banks of cumulonimbus. All that being said it is not an unpleasant place for most creatures to live. The air is easy to breath, the temperature is warm like a late spring day and, there is even a day/night cycle, even though there is no sun or visible source of light.
This is the Breeze, a demiplane of the Elemental plane of Air.
It is not an empty place, far from it. There are islands of various shapes, sizes and climates that fall endlessly through the sky unless brought under control by magical means. These islands are also not alone in this great blue yonder. The Breeze is home to many peoples of every conceivable race from many different worlds of the Material plane. These people make their homes in the numerous cities of the Breeze, vast complexes, held from falling by the magic of the Crystal Root.
