Father Rantal Prasst

At twenty-four years old, Father Prasst is the youngest of Kassen's leaders and caretaker of the town's lone temple. While he is respected in matters of the spirit, his advice in secular matters is often dismissed by the older, supposedly wiser heads of the community. He originally trained as a soldier in Tamran but left after his first battle to join Erastil's clergy. The reasons why seem to be something he is determined to take to his grave.   While he does not offer services for worshipers of other deities, Father Prasst is a kindly and undserstanding man and has seen to it that shrines to gods friendly, or at least neutral, towards Erastil have been set up in the small temple and that their worshipers are allowed to pray there. However, he is a hard man when it comes to the defense and strength of the community at large. He, along with Braggar Ironhame and Mayor Jonark Uptal, have done much to limit Grimscar's and Colbin Ventar's negative influences.   Father Prasst is a strict mentor, but fair and patient. He guides students to where they can find their answers, believing that learning how to find the answers is more improtant than the answers themselves. He preaches the virtues of community and against hedonistic tendencies, and tries his best to instill this same work ethic and ideals into his pupils.
