Colbin Ventar

Second in power and influence only to Mayor Jonark Uptal thanks to his position as the guildmaster of Kassen for the woodcutters guild, Colbin Vetnar is a man that is disliked by the townsfolk of Kassen as much as he loves filling his pockets with coin. While he follows the law to the letter, he does his best to twist any ambiguities to favor him and the woodcutter's guild. When Renet, Braggar Ironhame, and the town's bowyers and carpenters protested him making wooden weapons, he negotiated an agreement where all of them had to agree to purchase any wooden components and materials from the guild. Many in town joke about "Colbin's arrows" and "Colbin's Staves" and their quality (or lack there of in all too many cases.)
Colbin dresses as fashionably as he is able to in the frontier town. He is a smarmy fellow, believing himself the better of everyone in town. Most grumble and complain, but they don't do anything to him for fear of the consequences should relations with the woodcutter's guild turn sour. While most leave him alone, Colbin has, much to his dismay and everyone else's amusement, drawn the ire of Tang and Ring Ibbleting, gnomish twins who aren't, officially, citizens of Kassen. Over the past several months he has been the subject of a number of pranks and japes set up by the twins.
