Alcyrian Konasima Sects

When the Alcyrians arrived in Glosmordin, they faced the profound challenge of reconciling their deeply held beliefs with a new pantheon. Many devotees of their former gods struggled, finding their connection to Balera and other deities weakening in this unfamiliar world. However, they soon saw the native gods of Glosmordin as new incarnations of their old divinities, each embodying familiar aspects of their former faiths.   From this spiritual realignment emerged the Alcyrian Konasima Sects—a collective of priesthoods now devoted to Konasima, the goddess of Courage, Honor, and Protection. This collective represents a fusion of their traditional roles with the new spiritual landscape. Though rooted in various Alcyrian traditions, these sects now operate under Konasima’s unified banner, adapting their practices to align with Her divine domains.   In Glosmordin, the Alcyrian Konasima Sects are viewed as symbols of resilience and adaptability. Their seamless integration of old teachings with the principles of Konasima has earned them respect for their dedication to healing, valor, and justice. Their commitment to alleviating suffering and standing firm against darkness resonates deeply in a world marked by conflict and adversity.   Among the Alcyrians, this transition represents a harmonious blend of the past and present. They honor their heritage through revitalized rites and duties, including the Palliative Order of Alcyria, the Virtuous Order of Kona, and the Church of Craylos with its three orders: The Order of the Ascended, The Order of the Exiled, and The Order of the Return. This new alignment has strengthened their place within Glosmordin and reinforced their cultural identity, merging historical reverence with contemporary divine truths.   For the people of Glosmordin, the Alcyrian Konasima Sects exemplify how ancient faiths can evolve and thrive in a new world. They are seen as both custodians of tradition and dynamic practitioners of new divine realities, making a significant impact on the spiritual and communal life of their adopted homeland.
