Nura, Imrie, Mikhael, and Garruk experiment with Arcadius on the red crystal, and some of their magical implements, coming to the conclusion that there are different forms of magic, but they mix with each other as if they were born of the same source. Arcadius secures an audience with the King for them, and they speak to King Aphorus, accusing Lady Alta (who is present) of terrible acts against them. King Aphorus agrees to hear them out in more detail tomorrow.
