The Tude shows up, and reveals that Cedric's soul is keeping Toan alive. Toan, Syr'Cap and Tarksson can see Cedric, and Cedric can cast spells, though doing so hurts Toan to some degree. He tells them to continue along their way, and they venture for 9 days up to the Oakfoot Tribe camp, where they meet a Dwarven Necromancer Poetus. The Tude shows back up, and tells them that to save Toan's life, they must kill Tarksson's Patron, Velho. He opens a portal for them to Velho's domain, and they enter.
