Session 57: Time Stop Assassins

Five High Elf Assassins infiltrate the Shadow Horde camp and attempt to assassinate their leaders, Dhrakus, Vulkrem, Tanozall, Viktur, Syr'Cap and Busiris. They initiate a powerful Time Stop spell on the area, but somehow Vulkrem, Tanozall, and Busiris are immune, and Dhrakus, Viktur, and Syr'Cap were able to resist. They fight, and are nearly killed by the assassins, but Vulkrem managed to pull off one of their necklaces that held a sliver of red crystal. This caused the spell to drop, and Orc reinforcements chased them off. Dhrakus was killed in the attack. Venumbra offered him the ability to come back, but Vulkrem offered him the same, and Dhrakus turned from Venumbra and went with him. Venumbra offered Viktur a deal: kill Tanozall and the others, and run his army. He agreed, but Vulkrem allowed his patron to absorb the crystal's power, and he outfitted all of them with an immense amount of power. Tanozall was able to use this power to kill Viktur.
