Fear and Joy
The battle plan has went well so far, however I have this lingering feeling of fear. Not like the fear from Venumbra, true fear that racks my body and makes me question myself. I have found a new sensation that counteracts this feeling. A feeling I gain from small things. Trinkets, small creatures, things people say. I think this is joy. Vulkrem called our group something that made sense to me that wouldn't have before. He said "This is the closest thing I've had to a family in a long time". I think I'm starting to see what he means.
Emotions
With how the last few days have went I could use a bit of silence. With me being disconnected from Venumbra I no longer have that dread like feeling to wash over me and make me forget emotion. Now I am feeling things I haven't felt in years. Feelings of regret and sadness but also joy and happiness. These are very strange to me. I took pity of Viktor for no reason. Hopefully this will pass soon. I think the word Vulkrem used was accurate to describe our group currently. The closest thing to a family I've had in years.

Leashing Wild Dogs
Viktor showed today that he lacks self-control, however seeing his wife's failure seems to have brought him solace and control. Now that he's got his rag around his neck he's been acting much better. Vulkrem seems to be going further mad, however also seems to much more agreeable. Building favor with him will be vital but not hard. He seems unpredictable but he is drawn to power so this position will be ideal. Tanozall has shown himself to be a very valuable warrior, however further control would be helpful. The other two remain a bit unknown.
First Encounter With the Group.
These people look like they will prove useful. One seems crazy or overconfident. The Wightwalker seems brazen and a fool. Another one seems dangerous and unwieldy but shows drive. Once I connected him to Venumbra he seemed to gain some of his strength and a bit of his mind. He still seems dangerous, but less so. The other two remain unknown. I tire of waiting, we need to leave soon.
